Inclusivity Through Technology (FIT)
Through the Grand Challenges Grants program, FIT aims to bridge the gap between neurotypical and autistic people in workplaces through a video-calling platform—promoting mutual understanding, ethical usages of technology, and rapport building.
Equity in Dance
Maryland Ph.D. graduate and faculty member, Dr. Kate Spanos, champions equity and inclusion in the dance field through her debut book: "Dancing in the World: Revealing Cultural Confluences."
Music Education for All
An ARHU and CMNS duo are teaming up to democratize music education through their inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform VAIolin. Together, they will bring the power of music to underserved communities around the world through a Grand Challenges Team Project Grant.
The Global FEWture Alliance
This initiative seeks to mediate the biggest challenges in public health—ranging from population growth, urbanization, climate change and more. Through the implementation of tech-based solutions, community-driven capacity building and experiential education, this Maryland-based international alliance will spend the next three years addressing 13 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
