Expert Credentials:

Almost 30 years experience in experimental particle physics, have worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC), Fermi National Accelerator Lab (Fermilab), Superconducting Supercollider (SSC), and now CERN and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Switzerland. Expertise is in the area of software, data analysis, and high-speed digital electronics. I was head of computing for the Solenoid Detector Collaboration (SDC) at the SSC, am responsible for the readout electronics for the hadron calorimeter (HCAL) at CMS, one of the large LHC detectors. Am currently the coordinator for the upgrade effort for the HCAL at the LHC for the next 10 years.
