Author of Education chapter in Shellfish Aquaculture and the Environment, Shumway et al, Wiley publication for 2010. Provided analysis of shellfish aquaculture laws and regulations in Maryland leading to substantial changes in laws during 2009 to spur production for economic, employment and environmental benefits. Organized and managed many extension educational projects for the state and region including the USDA funded Northeastern Regional Aquaculture Center.
