Studying abroad helped me to become more adventurous! While in South East Asia I had the opportunity to scuba dive, hang out with elephants, and ride a swing 40 meters high! During the trip, I became more and more excited to try new things, so much so, that by the end of the trip my biggest regret was chickening out when I opportunity to bungee jump early on in the trip!

Advice for future #TerpsAbroad: Don't be afraid to try new things! The best parts of my study abroad experience were the parts that I was most scared to do (like eating ants-which were surprisingly delicious)!

Everyone was incredibly friendly! In Thailand, my friends and I stumbled upon a temple where people were giving out free food. The locals kept calling us over to their stands so that we could try all of their food and weren't satisfied until we had all eaten way too much.
