Non-credit Travel

We promote safe practices for all international UMD-sponsored travel.

At Education Abroad (EA), we provide risk management services not only to study abroad participants, but also to those attending UMD-sponsored international travel who do not receive credit. If you are a staff member leading non-credit UMD-sponsored international travel, you must contact our office to be eligible for the services provided in our risk management program. We will provide these services if you fall into one of the following groups:

• Alternative Breaks
• Engineers Without Borders
• Resident Life sponsored trips
• Capital One Leadership Program
• Other UMD-sponsored non-credit travel
