Join the University of Maryland (UMD) and international partners on UMD’s beautiful campus during the NAFSA Annual Conference this May. UMD Partner Day is an opportunity to learn more about the exchange student experience and what makes UMD a top-ranked public research institution. The event will feature an interactive campus tour to showcase new facilities, exciting initiatives and world-class innovations.

Accessibility Note: The UMD Partner Day will include a walking tour between campus buildings for up to 15 minutes at a time. Please let us know in your registration if you will require mobility or other accommodations.

Program Agenda

8:00 a.m.	UMD Bus departs Washington Convention Center Transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
9:00 a.m.	Partner Day Programming University Welcome with Dr. Ross Lewin, Associate Vice President for International Affairs and coffee with colleagues from: Education Abroad Office of International Affairs International Student and Scholar Services, and more Campus Tour of UMD highlights, including: Brendan Iribe Center for Computer Science McKeldin Mall Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center H.J. Patterson Hall Adele H. Stamp Student Union Opportunities to engage with UMD Academic Colleges and Offices, including: A. James Clark School of Engineering Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for Campus Life College of Arts and Humanities College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Division of Student Affairs Office of Diversity and Inclusion Robert H. Smith School of Business
12:00 p.m.	Partner Day Lunch Lunch included with registration. OR First option to return to Washington Convention Center (no lunch) Transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
1:30 p.m.	Second option to return to Washington Convention Center Transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
