Dr. Negin Fouladi, Doctoral and Master's students from the Department of Health Policy and Management Phil Gordon, Lola Ajayi, Busola Odubayo and Dr. Ada Offurum, Medical Director of the UMMC Physician Advisory Group are excited to visit the University of Birmingham, UK for the second International Universitas 21 Health Research Exchange (U21HREx) Symposium September 25-29th.
They will present on the US Healthcare System and the Impact of US Abortion Laws on Women's Health and run several student and early career researcher professional development workshops. They will also meet with University of Birmingham Leadership and Chief Executives of the Birmingham Medical Center to develop joint academic, research, and practice initiatives to foster student and early career researcher development in health policy, services, and management.
