I am new to campus and have orientation requirements.

All ISSS orientation requirements for students, faculty and scholars can be completed online.

Who should I contact to let them know I have a positive covid-19 test result or do not feel well?

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result

  • If you are a newly arrived undergraduate student who has not completed undergraduate orientation (and therefore not yet enrolled in classes), please reach out to the Office of Student Orientation and Transition.
  • If you are not already enrolled full-time, please work with your academic advisor in your academic department to meet this requirement.
  • Students should reach out to their professors to indicate that they are ill and determine a plan regarding their coursework.

GRADUATE STUDENTS with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result

  • Be sure you have done all online orientation modules as indicated by the Graduate School.
  • If you are not already enrolled full-time, please work with your Graduate Director in your academic department to complete this requirement.
  • Students should reach out to their professors to indicate that they are ill to determine a plan regarding their coursework.

FACULTY/SCHOLARS with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result

  • Scholars should be in contact with their departmental contact to inform them that they have tested positive.
  • Your department will discuss with you how to report your absence from work during this time. If they do not tell you how to report an absence, please ask them about the correct process.
