The Global Classrooms faculty panel will feature faculty experiences designing and delivering Global Classrooms while celebrating UMD’s faculty’s achievements and commitment to creating Global Classrooms opportunities for students on campus. The panel will be followed by a celebratory lunch by invitation.

Global Classrooms Student Showcase

Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

During these activities, participants will have additional opportunities to gain insight into GLI's many global engagement possibilities, connect with the Global Learning community on campus, and celebrate the talent and achievements of UMD’s global learning community.

Global Classrooms are international virtual exchange courses that facilitate project-based learning. Each term we offer a number of courses connecting with international communities from Bangladesh to Cuba to Iraq and all over the world. Learn more about Global Classrooms at the following link
