Franne Van der Keilen

Franne is a vision-focused leader with extensive international work experience and proven expertise in communications and global engagement across the fields of learning and research; sustainable development; and crisis management & emergency preparedness. She currently serves as the communications director for the Office of International Affairs at the University of Maryland. She received her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Linguistics from KU Leuven in Belgium and earned post-graduate certifications in Cultural Anthropology, International Marketing, Business Leadership and Program Design & Leadership from KU Leuven, the American University in Cairo, Cornell University, and Stanford University respectively.
