Kelsey Prima

Program Manager for Global Partnerships and Exchanges

She/Her

Kelsey joined the Education Abroad (EA) team in May 2021. She oversees UMD’s exchange partnerships and agreements and manages the incoming exchange program. She works closely with campus colleagues to identify and develop global learning programs that serve the needs of Terps as they move through their degree paths. Prior to joining EA, Kelsey worked in international exchange programming and institutional relations and enjoyed building strong partnerships with universities around the globe. A Philadelphia native, Kelsey completed her B.A. in foreign languages and literature at the University of Delaware (UD) and her M.A. in international education management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. While at UD, Kelsey studied abroad in Austria and Costa Rica, and after graduation, she taught abroad in Austria through the Fulbright U.S. Teaching Assistants program and later worked in international education at the Middlebury School in Mainz, Germany. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys long hikes in Shenandoah, losing herself in a good novel, scouting out specialty coffee shops and planning her next trip abroad.
