Kuan Zhai

Kuan is an international student advisor in the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office. With a TESOL background, he enjoys meeting and interacting with people from around the world, learning about their cultures, and sharing his own. He is also an advocate for LGBTQ+ international students and serves as a liaison for the ISSS office. Prior to his current role, he worked with international students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned his M.A. in education. Kuan enjoys cooking, playing sports, and spending time with his Miniature Schnauzer, Louie.
